Vikram on Duty Episodes 53–56 Review: Robbery Gang Ends, A Shocking NEET Case Begins, and Vikram Faces His Biggest Challenge Yet

Episodes 53 to 56 of Vikram Mondhu deliver one of the most eventful weeks of the series. The story successfully concludes the thrilling jewelry robbery investigation before introducing a highly emotional and socially relevant case involving a father's tragic death. Alongside these investigations, the show also brings major changes to Vikram's professional and personal life, making these episodes packed with suspense, drama, and unexpected twists.

The week begins with the climax of the jewelry robbery case. After carefully studying the gang's pattern, Vikram devises a brilliant trap by manipulating the robbers into targeting a house selected by the police instead of their original target. The Task Force secretly guards the house while allowing the robbery to happen so the police can follow the gang to their hideout.

The robbers successfully escape with what they believe to be gold jewelry. However, when they reach their secret location and begin melting the ornaments, they discover that the jewelry is only imitation covering gold. Before they can react, Vikram and his team storm the hideout. A fierce action sequence follows as Vikram single-handedly fights the brutal gang members before finally overpowering and arresting them.

The investigation reaches its conclusion when Vikram discovers that the gang had been storing the real melted gold inside a bank locker. With the stolen valuables recovered and the criminals arrested, the jewelry robbery case comes to a satisfying end, once again proving Vikram's ability to combine intelligence with perfect timing.

While one investigation concludes, another far more sensitive case immediately takes center stage. A grieving father, devastated after losing his daughter to suicide following the NEET examination, sets himself on fire in public after failing to receive justice or support from the authorities. The tragic incident becomes national news, forcing the police department to act quickly. Recognizing the seriousness of the matter, the DIG assigns the investigation to Vikram.

As Vikram begins examining the case, he realizes that several facts do not add up. Instead of accepting the obvious explanation, he starts identifying major loopholes, suggesting that there is a much bigger conspiracy waiting to be uncovered.

At the same time, the police department undergoes a major leadership change. The IG receives a promotion, and a new Commissioner, Jansi, takes charge. Her arrival instantly creates tension because she shares a troubled history with Vikram and clearly does not trust him.

Using Vikram's earlier suspension as justification, Commissioner Jansi removes him from the investigation and hands the case over to Officer Suresh. Unlike Vikram, Suresh believes in solving cases through intimidation and violence rather than careful investigation. He forces witnesses to sign statements under pressure and quickly declares the case solved without following proper procedures.

Although Commissioner Jansi initially praises Suresh's speedy work, the IG strongly disapproves of the investigation. He criticizes the violation of police protocols and insists that only Vikram can properly investigate such a sensitive case. Left with no alternative, Jansi reluctantly asks Vikram to return and continue handling the investigation.

Meanwhile, Vikram's personal life also takes a significant step forward. His mother continues encouraging him to marry Veda, believing they are perfect for each other. Although Vikram remains uncomfortable because he has still not revealed that he is actually a police officer, he agrees to proceed with the engagement. The engagement ceremony is completed successfully, with joyful family moments and wedding preparations adding warmth to an otherwise intense week.

Despite the happy occasion, Vikram remains emotionally conflicted. He knows that hiding his true profession from Veda cannot continue forever, raising questions about how their relationship will progress in the coming episodes.

Episodes 53 to 56 end by leaving viewers with several intriguing questions. Will Vikram officially clear his suspension and regain his full position? Can he uncover the hidden truth behind the NEET-related tragedy after identifying the flaws in the initial investigation? Will Commissioner Jansi eventually acknowledge Vikram's methods and abilities? Most importantly, when will Vikram finally reveal his identity as a police officer to Veda before their marriage moves forward?

These episodes successfully balance action, emotional storytelling, family drama, and investigative suspense. The jewelry robbery case provides an exciting conclusion, while the new investigation promises to become one of the most socially relevant storylines in the series. Combined with Vikram's engagement and growing professional conflicts, the show leaves audiences eagerly waiting for the next chapter.
